We chose chessboards because chess is a language understood across nations, a bridge between cultures and generations. For us, building these boards is a way to honor the game that has sharpened our minds, nurtured our patience, and taught us presence.

True luxury begins with integrity. That is why every material we use is chosen with purpose, care, and traceability.
We work with teak, walnut, and other fine FSC-certified or reclaimed woods, metals such as brass, copper, stainless steel, and aluminium, and we are exploring rarer elements (gold, gemstones, and diamonds) for future editions. Each piece is accompanied by an authenticity certificate, ensuring provenance, sustainability, and ease of service.
Our finishes are eco-conscious and non-toxic — from natural oils to water-based lacquers — designed to preserve both the beauty of the material and the well-being of those who use it. We put just as much emphasis on the pieces, ensuring a perfect harmony between weight, balance, and touch.
Wood itself is a remarkable choice: it is the world’s only widely available carbon-negative material, storing more carbon than it emits when responsibly harvested. For us, working with wood is both craft and commitment. With every chess set, we also commit to planting and nurturing trees, ensuring that beauty is replenished for generations to come.
